An update to the story of the charter school in Louisiana which had the policy of testing girls suspected of being pregnant and kicking out the ones who tested positive:
It seems that when the ACLU got involved, the Louisiana State Department of Education made them change it.
"We are requiring an immediate change to the policy," the Louisiana State Department of Education said in a statement Tuesday night.
The ACLU sent the school a letter on Monday, saying that the policy violates federal law and the U.S. Constitution, and threatening legal action if it is not revised immediately.
Now, if only they'd go back and let the girls back in who were illegally made to leave, and make the school refund the State and Federal governments the money they were paid while breaking the law...
