I got busy and never got another post done tonight - so as a consolation prize, here are some pictures of our trip through Wyoming, especially Pipestone National Park, where Native Americans get their pipestone, which can be obtained nowhere else in the world.
This is Pipestone National Park
This is what the vast American Prairie looked like before we turned it into the breadbasket of the world. Most of that is waist high, some of it taller.
Wyoming. We stayed in a rented house in the middle of this beautiful valley one night. The motel overbooked us and didn't have the room we booked. So we got this wonderful place to stay.
